I am a grandmother with 3 grandchildren.
Family & Volleyball is my life.

Where are you from?

Samoa

What position do you like playing the most in volleyball?

Setter

Who is one volleyball player (athlete) that you are inspired by and why?

Inspired by watching my father play on his men's team in the Islands.

Why do you play volleyball?

I play volleyball because I love it! It's a thinking game and as a setter you have to know so many dynamics of the game. You have to make quick decisions under pressure and I work best under pressure.

Why do you coach? What excites you about coaching?

I coach volleyball because it excites me to teach fundamental skills of this game and mentor players on how to apply those skills in their lives.

What do you value most in your players?

What I value in young athletes is "Individual worth". They are important and they are valued for their commitment and hard work. Their success is our success.

What is your most embarrassing volleyball moment?

When I was peppering with my daughter( she was 5) I hit the ball pretty hard and she dug it up and I didn't think she would it came back fast and hit me in the face. We were warming up for my game and everyone saw it. I was so embarrased.
